Twitter adds Google and Apple ID as log-in and sign-up options

Twitter adds two additional ways for people to enter their accounts. Starting today, you can use your Google ID to access services through their web clients and cellular applications. On iOS, meanwhile, entering with Apple now works with a Twitter application, with the company planning to support services for the web login “soon.” It is also possible to use both services to create a new Twitter account.

Of the two options, entering with Apple is more interesting. Apple introduces it at WWDC 2019 as an alternative to login services from Facebook and Google. The company claims to enter Apple to prevent tracking, and allow you to hide your email by generating a secondary address that then forwards any messages from the application and service to your inbox.

Either Way, Twitter added support for Google and Apple IDS must make life a little easier for new users. But we will note here one of the usual things about rollout this feature is that Twitter offers its own login service that you can use to access several websites. The internet can sometimes be a strange place.
