Hubble regularly captures the amazing images of the universe around us and sometimes NASA highlights very striking photos. That’s what happened with one of the latest images highlighted by the Space Agent, one featuring three galaxies involved in the battle ‘pull-war-war’ galaxy. According to NASA, the galaxy is part of the ‘strange’ set.
The system displayed in the image, which was highlighted by NASA on July 30, called ARP 195; This is part of the “Typical Galaxy Atlas,” which is a list of strange and unique galaxies and “beautiful” in the universe around us. In this case, the three galaxies interact with each other.
Drag this war, because NASA calls it, is a gravitational battle slowly combining three twins. The result is a layer of paint that seems to shine in the dark background, one that – in this case – is the “snapshot bonus” captured by Hubble between scheduled observations, more prominent and longer.
NASA explained that the time spent using the Hubble Space Telescope “was very valuable,” which is why the planned observations are calculated using the algorithm and then scheduled. Occasionally, this system provides extra time for Hubble to make other observations produce a bonus image.
We have a ‘battle’ image of this galaxy thanks to this bonus time Hubble can be used for unskilled observations. NASA notes that not only this bonus snapshot provides an additional image of the public from the universe, but also provides future observation points for Telescope James Webb, which will be launched in the near future.
