Wild Outer is undoubtedly one of the most discussed games in 2019. Two years later, indie fans of the game are still talking about it, and it is not unusual to see the outer wild in the discussion of recommendations or as an agreement highlighted during sales. Then this year, we will have a reason to return to the outdoor wilds universe, because the game gets new expansion.

This expansion, nicknamed the eyes of the eye, was revealed today during the event organized by the Annapurna Interactive publisher. However, details about the echo of the eye are still slim enough, and may remain like that until the release of expansion, given the basic game focus on the invention.

YouTube description for the reveal trailer (which we provide above) does not explain what is expected. “Strange satellite photos that cannot be explained,” the description rang. “The new museum exhibition that marks the trailhead for one last trip to the wild. Should you pull the thread and uncover the deepest secrets of the solar system, or some better knowledge left in the dark?”

The reveal trailer certainly has an anxious feeling for that. While it starts with a good shot from the solar system, it’s not long before the music requires a very dramatic dark shift. Many places we visit in the trailer are enveloped in darkness as well, which almost suggests survival horror tones for expansion.

The trailer is full of mysteries, and of course, outside wild fans may not have it in other ways. Outside Wilds: The echo of the eye will come out on September 28 at PS4, Xbox One, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
