Online games, especially those who involve squadrons or PVP, live and die for the number of people who are really playing the game at the same time. While each platform can have many players within their own walled gardens, there is still something that should be said when it can play on any platform and play with anyone on any platform. The war, one of the unexpected HITS of the MMO genre, is promising exactly that, as it expands its scope of the PCs and the consoles to the mobile.
The war war is probably an atypical value in the MMO genre, and its success is almost short of being a miracle. Born at the height of the free MMO to play (F2P), the action shooter avoided the stigma of payment methods to gain while providing quality content at the same level as the MMO paid. Not only did the war to survive for nine years with a model of this type of business, but has also expanded both in content and within reach.
Launched for Windows initially, the game added support for PS4, only a few months later, while Xbox One Support would take almost a year to happen. Then it was extended to the Nintendo switch, the PlayStation 5, and the Xbox X series | S, in that order, and it seems ready to throw its network further and wider than ever.
In this year’s Tennocon event, the Extreme digital developer revealed two important ways that the game is expanding. Only one mobile is already an impressive feat, but the digital ends go to the additional mile to allow the multiplatform game and the multiplatform salvas as well. You can see the short Teaser video up, while the panel discussion then for the mobile port and the cross playback function starts at 17:28.
The fans of the war are probably excited, and the players interested now have fewer excuses to not immerse themselves in the game. That said, the digital ends have not yet announced any timeline for the arrival of these characteristics, but, given the quality of the show, probably not so far.
